About the Institution

The system of Education is in a state of flux, in conformity with the growing demands for new branches of knowledge and diversified advancement of the modern technological world. Foreseeing this, the SRI BHARATHI EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION deemed it fit to start a new college with the name of SRI BHARATHI ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN in order to fulfill the ambition of the student community.

The college is situated in Kaikkurichi Village, 5 KM away from Pudukkottai towards Aranthangi. Started in the academic year 2002-2006 with the aim to impart education to women, especially from rural areas, the college now celebrates its 20th academic year with 17 UG courses and 6 PG courses.

Accredited with B++ grade during the 1st cycle by NAAC in November 2023, we also offer certificate courses on Technical & Professional Skills through the Entrepreneur Development Cell. The college currently employs 84 teaching staff members and 14 non-teaching staff. Our motto is Educate, Empower, and Eclectic.
